As a member of the City Council of Marion, I have gained valuable experience and know what it takes to be involved in the shaping of our government and state. I have also been involved in a close election and know how much work is involved to get elected to office.
I was raised in a home where my mother owned a small business, and my father worked his way up the corporate ladder to an executive level before retirement. I was taught that hard work and integrity were the ingredients to achieving your goals, and there is no substitute for either.

The ESCO Group – Marion, IA, December 2000 – Present
Account manager/project engineer – Began as project engineer on system integration and control projects for industrial and commercial clients ranging from food processing to electric generation. Promoted within four years to account management of national customer with nine production plants. Responsible for sales, project management, and team management of 4-6 Engineers.
Vector Corporation –
Controls engineer – Responsible for electrical engineering, programming specifications, programming, testing, system commissioning of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. Also responsible for product line continuous improvement.
